Centrally located, just 15 minutes away from Cologne inner city, you will find the „Jugendpark“ in between trees and meadows, direct to the Rhein-river on a hook.
Travel by plane:
The best is to fly to the airport Cologne/Bonn or to Düsseldorf. Frankfurt is only recommendable, if you come from overseas. If this is the case, you should arrange your transfer from Frankfurt to Cologne by air or train before you leave
(the train takes you to Cologne central station).
From Cologne/Bonn: take the S 13 in direction Hansaring to the stop Cologne Messe/Deutz (12 min) or take the train in direction Mönchengladbach (10 min)
From Düsseldorf: take the train (RE) in direction Aachen or Koblenz to the stop Cologne Messe/Deutz (34 min)
From Frankfurt: take the train (ICE) in direction Cologne to the stop Cologne central station (60 min), go on with S6 in direction Essen or S13 in direction Troisdorf to the stop Cologne Messe/Deutz
From Cologne Messe/Deutz: take the bus 150 in direction Thermalbad/Claudiustherme to the stop „Im Rheinpark“ (4min) or go by feet/bike southwards. There is a crosswalk for pedestrians and bikes that lead you straight to the „Jugendpark“. The park is right after the „Zoobrücke“ (the brigde with the cable-railway).
No matter where you are coming from: go towards “Koelnmesse”. It is best to take the motorway A3 and the exit “Köln Zentrum”. Watch out for the speed control under the tunnel, you’re going through (80 km/h!). Take the exit “Köln Deutz” (don’t cross the river) and then follow the signs: Koelnmesse, car park #P25.
Attention!!! Parking space at the event location is limited!!!! Please try to use public transportation to the „Rheinpark/Jugendpark“ or park your car at the opposite side of the Rhein river: Park+Ride parking garage at the Cologne zoo…
